Would you like to present a product on the web in realtime 3D? Well now you can with WebGL - it works on iPhone, Android and desktop without a plugin. Here’s how we did it - Pete did the programing, Caitlin did the UX and I did the 3D artwork
Pete coded Caitlin’s UX designs, and set up the 3D interaction with the guitar. He also made sure that the project to worked properly on mobile and desktop. Caitlin did the UX - she kept it simple: Inviting the user to explore the model which took center stage. Her design also had clear paths for interaction; Changing colors, and Selecting the toggle switch. I did the 3D and used the latest physically based shaders for that photo realistic look.
